Teenager Nabeel Ahmed died of injuries sustained in a friendly fistfight organised by local boys in Hyderabad. A video of the fight was recorded via mobile and close to 10 boys were reportedly present at the scene.According to a report in The Indian Express, when the boys found out that the 17-year-old Nabeel had died in the fight, they lied to his mother and told her that he had died in a bike accident. The boy’s father who works in Saudi Arabia sensed something amiss on his return and had reported this to the Mirchowk police station.Students from his college had reportedly placed bets on Nabeel and Mohammed but the fight turned deadly as the latter punched the former in the abdomen and the chest and on the head. According to news reports, the video is from May 3. An NDTV report mentions that a post-mortem was conducted after which the police picked up one of the boys on Friday and upon questioning, he revealed what had happened. Hyderabad DCP(South) Satyanarayana has told a news channel that the father of the boy had reached the police station with a complaint on May 7. The report also states that when two of the boys were picked up by the police, they admitted to organizing such fights and that they had a video recording of the incident which was handed over to the police.Here is the video of the incident.
