The Punjab unit of the Shiv Sena on Wednesday reportedly announced a reward for those who would slap Khan. The statement came while party workers were protesting outside hotel MBD Radisson Blu in Ludhiana, where the actor was staying while he was campaigning for his upcoming movie "Dangal", The Indian Express reported.
"We give an opportunity to the manager and employees of the hotel and also the team of his film to slap Aamir and get Rs 1 lakh from us. The courageous and patriotic persons who will slap Aamir Khan in Ludhiana will get Rs 1 lakh reward per slap from us," The Indian Express quoted Rajeev Tandon, Punjab chairman of Shiv Sena as saying.
Shiv Sena workers also allegedly raised slogans and used derogatory remarks against him and burnt his photographs, the report added.
The Lucknow unit of the Shiv Sena also conducted a mock funeral of the actor on Wednesday. An ANI report stated, "Shiv Sena workers said Aamir had earned a lot of money from this country and if he still felt India was intolerant, he should go to Pakistan with his family and stay there."
