One of the most successful director – actor siblings in the Tamil film industry, Selvaraghavan and Dhanush are all set to come back together for a film. While Dhanush had confirmed that he would be teaming up with his older brother very soon, director Selva, in an online interaction with fans, said that the project is sure to happen next year. The National Award-winning actor Dhanush is a busy star right now with various films in his kitty. Incidentally, he made his debut as a director with Pa Paandi recently, which scored well.
While Dhanush is busy with a slew of projects including the Gautham Menon directorial Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, Vettrimaaran’s Vada Chennai and Hollywood flick The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir directed by Ken Scott, Selva is busy wielding the megaphone for Mannavan Vanthaanadi which has Santhanam in the lead. The director will next go on to direct a Suriya starrer we hear. It may be mentioned that The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir will mark his Hollywood debut.
Dhanush made his debut as an actor with Thulluvadho Ilamai, which was written by Selva and directed by their dad Kasthuri Raja. Dhanush and Selva had worked together in films such as Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Mayakkam Enna. It’s been six years since their last association and fans are eagerly waiting to see the siblings back in action together. With both of them confirming that the project is very much on the cards, it is just a matter of time before an official announcement in this regard is made.
Well, looks like both Dhanush as well as Selva are working to get their dates in tandem so that the project can take off!
