Seems CPI(M) cadres have decided who Kerala's next Home Minister will be

When Kerala CPI (M) is still intensely debating on who its chief ministerial candidate should be, a flex board fixed by Kannur Ambadimukku area comrades has raised eyebrows.

The flex board shows the picture of Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan, in an open jeep with police and black cat security to receive guard of honour. The board has the tagline “Strong Home Minister for a strong Chief Minister”.

Ironically, P Jayarajan, an accused in RSS leader Kathiroor Manoj murder case to whom court has denied anticipatory bail many times, is likely to be arrested by CBI anytime.

“In CPI (M) many are eligible to become Chief Minister. But our wish is that Home Minsiter should be from Kannur. A strong leader should guide Kerala police, that wish is behind this poster,” a CPI (M) worker from Ambadimukku told Asianet News.

The party workers believe that Jayarajan was trapped in a fake case against him.
