Though the title hasn’t been announced and the shooting is still underway, the very name of ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan seemed to be enough for Sun Network to lap up the satellite rights of the actor’s upcoming film.

Reports suggest that the television major, Sun Network has inked a deal with the makers of the film for its satellite rights and have shelled out Rs 19.5 crore.

According to trade sources, this is the highest rate that a Telugu film managed to get so far, besides the Baahubali series.

Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan’s career in the recent past experienced a low, with Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu not scoring too well at the box office.

Sources say that the cost of satellite rights of his incomplete film is enough to prove that the actor is still one of the hot favourites among Telugu film buffs.

It is believed that, with Trivikram Srinivas wielding the megaphone for the venture, there is confidence that the duo will go on to create the magic that they had weaved with Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi.

Both the films were smash hits and there are huge hopes that they would come up with a hattrick this time.

Produced by S Radha Krishna under his banner Haarika and Hassinee Creations, the film has Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel sharing the screen space with the actor.

Reports suggest that the film may hit the marquee for Dusshera but there is no official statement regarding this yet.

Though the team is yet to announce the title of the film, there is a strong speculation that it could be titled Engineer Babu as Pawan plays a software professional in it.
