Veteran actor couple Sarath Kumar and Radikaa Sarath Kumar will be sharing screen space for a movie titled Peranthal Parasakathi. What makes it even more interesting is that the star cast also has Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalaxmi playing an important role.
Expressing happiness over being a part of Peranthal Parasakathi, Varalaxmi recently tweeted: “Super excited to be a part of this film.. it’s special in many ways.. getting to work my darling dad @realsarathkumar and the legendary @realradikaa aunty.. #PeranthalParasakthi directed by #Omvijay produced by @RadaanTVTamil. The film will be bankrolled by Radikaa’s home production company, Radaan TV. While debut director OM Vijay is wielding the megaphone, the technical crew of Peranthal Parasakthi includes NR Raghunanthan for composing music.
Meanwhile, Radikaa and Sarath Kumar are busy with Vaanam Kottatum, which is being directed by ace director Mani Ratnam’s protégé, Dhana. The film is bankrolled by Mani Ratnam and A Subhaskaran under their respective banners Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
Vikram Prabhu is on board to play the lead role in the film, which will have Madonna Sebastian and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads. While the former would be paired opposite the hero, the latter will be seen playing his sister. Shantanu Bagyaraj is also playing one of the leads in this multi-starrer. The others in the star cast include Nandha Durairaj, Amitash Pradhan, and Balaji Sakthivel.
Singer Sid Sriram will be making his debut as music composer with Vaanam Kottatum and Arjit Singh and Vijay Prakash are also on board to compose the tunes. Preetha Jayaraman is cranking the camera for the film and Anthony will do the edits. The film is scheduled to hit the marquee next year and the release date is expected to be announced later.
