After the Samsung Galaxy A70 was launched in the market last month, the company is likely to introduce a variant of it: The Samsung Galaxy A70s. Samsung is trying to do what some of the other popular smartphone brands have made their practice; launch a model and after a short duration, follow through with a sub model. Like OnePlus 6 and 6T.

The highlight of the new phone will be a 64MP camera sensor, the first phone to sport such a huge camera. It is not confirmed when the Samsung Galaxy A70s will be out in the market, since this is more like a leak from a South Korean daily. There are also no further details on the other variations the phone may be provided with from the Samsung Galaxy A70.

The sensor is being described as “64 MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor”. It is an inhouse product of Samsung’s and the company has already unveiled it earlier. The rumours are that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to be released this year may also feature the same 64MP sensor. They claim this lens has the highest resolution if one goes by the accessories found in smartphones so far. The way the sensor functions is described thus: “the 64 MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 uses pixel-merging Tetracell technology to churn out 16 MP images in low lighting conditions by merging four pixels into one and 64 MP images with "color filter descrambling" in well-lit conditions”.

You may have to wait till Samsung comes out with an official statement on what it has in store for the Samsung Galaxy A70s. There may be more hardware changes apart from the features that may be included in addition to what is found in the A70.
