Samsung had launched its Galaxy J7 smartphone only some time ago. After that, its flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was released. Now there are reports of the company planning to launch one more variation of the J7 phone with a dual camera setup and it will be called the Samsung Galaxy J7+.
The specifications and features of this phone are as below.
The phone will have a 5.5-inch super AMOLED display with the screen resolution being 1920x1080. The phone is supposed to be made of a metallic unibody. gold, pink and black are the three colours in which this phone is likely to be made available.
Though the specific name of the processor is not known it is believed it so be an octa-core one. The RAM support will be 4 GB. With regard to the storage, the Galaxy J7+ will have 32GB internal memory storage capacity and the provision to expand it to 256GB via a microSD card.
The battery to be fitted on this smartphone is expected to be of 3000mAh. The OS will be the Android Nougat version7.1.1. But it can be hoped that the upgrade to the just released Android O will happen soon.
But it is the dual camera setup in the rear that Samsung would want the buyers to see this phone in the market. Probably to underscore the point that the dual camera setup is not a one off feature that figured in the Note 8, the J7+ smartphone will also sport a setup with two sensors being placed one below the other vertically.
The larger one is of 13MP and the smaller one 5MP in this arrangement. The lens apertures are likely to be f/1.7 and f/1.9 respectively.
The front camera will be the largest with 16MP and f/1.9 aperture. As seen in the Note 8, the Live Focus feature is provided in this new smartphone also. This feature helps in the adjustment of any blues or to focus even while clicking the images or after taking the pictures.
These details are part of the leaks about the impending launch of the Samsung Galaxy J7+ and the official confirmation about this and the other information are yet to come. It is not clear when the phone will be launched.
Since the leaks have appeared first from Thailand, it is believed the device could hit that country's markets first before being sold elsewhere.
The expected price tag is also around Rs 20, 000.
