Ritika Singh, the kickboxer-turned-actress who stunned audiences and critics alike with her performance in the sports drama film Irudhi Suttru opposite Madhavan is on a signing spree.
Ritika has signed up for two new films -Aandavan Kattalai with Vijay Sethupathi and Shivalinga with Raghava Lawrence.
Aaandavan Kattalai directed by 'Kakka Muttai' fame Manikandan, features Vijay Sethupathy and Ritika Singh in the lead role. Tipped to be an entertainer with a twist, the film will deal with a lighter subject and will have good scope for humour.
Ritika is said to be playing the role of a bold and fearless investigative journalist. While she will be investigating a murder in the film, Vijay Sethupathi is said to be playing the role of an IT employee.
Bankrolled by G. N. Anbu Chezhiyan of Gopuram Films, the film has music by K, and it is slated for release in September.
