The post production of the Rajinikanth starrer 2.O is currently going on at breakneck speed and the Oscar winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty gave a glimpse of what's in store through his tweets.

He was, in fact, seen hold a massive gun which said it all!
He also went on to reveal that a couple of cars were smashed by bulldozers to get authentic sounds.
His tweet in this regard was, “Ohh we just smashed few cars for #Thalaivar #2.OFxRecording most authentic sounds for @superstarrajini @RajiniKanthInd.”
Confirming that the sound recording for the film began on September 28th, PRO Shakthi Saravanan tweeted, “#2Point0 sound recording sessions begins earlier today..!! Congrats @resulp sir pic.twitter.com/6wLMqlief5.”
2.O is easily one of the most anticipated films as it happens to be the sequel to the 2010 release Endhiran.
Directed by Shankar, the film stars Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson as the lead pair with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar playing the baddie. Those in supporting roles include Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Riyaz Khan.
Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under his banner Lyca Productions 2.O is made on a massive budget of Rs. 450 crores. The film’s technical crew comprises AR Rahman for songs with the background score done by him and Qutub-E-Kripa, Nirav Shah for camera and Anthony for editing.
Director Shankar had completed the shooting a couple of months ago and the post production is underway. Reports say that the post production work would take at least six months’ time considering the huge amount of graphics work to be included.
2.O is likely to hit the marquee on January 25th and the team is working towards meeting this deadline.
