The News Minute | November 11, 2014 | 04:21 pm IST Indian culture, in all its richness and diversity, seems to be pretty vulnerable- every once in a while self proclaimed protectors of our customs wield their metaphorical swords and tangible 'lathis' to quell any 'anti-Indian culture' wave running in the country. For the past few weeks, it is the 'Kiss of Love' campaign that seems to have been threatening the very values on which the Indian culture stands upon. The reasons are aplenty. Kissing in public is a matter of 'shame- shame'. Kissing in public is immoral. Kissing in public is against Indian culture and is something we are aping from the West. These, and pretty much everything in between, sums it up. One could argue against each of the above points, defending freedom of expression or even their right to public display of affection, or, one could simply put across one's point without having to say anything, literally. Someone seems to have decided to let their illustration do the talking. An Imgur user uploaded this image recently. To all those blaming the West for a bunch of Indians kissing in India as protest against moral policing in India, here is a message for them. Because blaming a third party is easier than having a logical discussion?
