The News Minute | October 2, 2014 | 10 am ISTSome religious leaders and progressive people and groups have demanded that the state government table the anti-superstition bill in the winter session of the Assembly.Addressing the media during a press conference on Wednesday, Seer of the Nidumamidi Math Veerabhadra Chennamalla Swami, said that if the government did not table the bill, he, along with other seers and progressive people, including intellectuals would launch an indefinite fast.The seer also urged the state government to develop a comprehensive programme for the uplift of communities such as Malekudiyas, Koragas and Siddhis.
