Ravi Shastri will continue as the Indian cricket team's director till the 2016 World T20, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Sunday.

Apart from extending Shastri's tenure, the tenures of the current coaching staff, including batting coach Sanjay Bangar, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R. Sridhar, were also increased.
