Rashmika Mandanna is currently one the most happening heroines in the Kannada and Telugu film industries. With several hit movies to her credit, she is being flooded with good offers from both the film industries, so much so that she seems to be having call sheet issues.

According to the buzz doing the rounds, she has backed out of the Kannada movie Vrithra citing date issues. Interestingly, this happened after the filmmakers had released her first look in the film. Apparently, the makers of Vrithra wanted her to start shooting for the film immediately, but since she is held up with other projects she couldn’t accommodate their request. The film’s director Gowtham Iyer is now scouting for a suitable replacement.

In Telugu, Rashmika is currently basking in the success of the movie Geetha Govindam, which has been a big success worldwide with the box office collections crossing the Rs 50 crore mark last month. A romantic entertainer, the film is about the lead pair – Geetha played by Rashmika Mandanna and Govind played by Vijay Deverakonda.

With Chalo, which released prior to Geetha Govindam earlier this year and was Rashmika’s debut in Tollywood, also being a smash hit, she is the toast of tinsel town right now.

Rashmika is expecting the release of Devadas on September 27. A Sriram Adittya directorial, the film stars Nagarjuna and Nani as heroes, with Rashmika playing the lead opposite Nani. She is currently shooting for the Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade.

It may be mentioned here that Rashmika’s performance in the Kannada movie Kirik Party was critically acclaimed and won her several awards, including the South Indian International Movie Awards for Best Debut Actress in a leading role. She also won the Love Lavike Readers Choice Award for Best Actress and Zee Kannada Hemmeya Kannadathi Award for Best Actress for her performance in Anjani Putra.
