Tollywood actor and politician N Balakrishna had announced that he would soon star in the biopic on his father the legendary thespian NT Rama Rao, who also ruled Andhra Pradesh as its Chief Minister for several years.

Busy with the upcoming KS Ravikumar directorial, Balakrishna intended to work on the biopic after completing the current project.

However, things took a different turn with controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma announcing that he would direct a biopic on NTR from his wife, Lakshmi Parvathi’s view. Not stopping at that, he also reportedly went on to release a song.

Reports suggest that Balakrishna is completely irked by RGV’s behaviour but has decided not to come out with any statements regarding the project till he is done with the KS Ravikumar directorial. This film is touted to be a Sankranti release next year.

NTR married Lakshmi Parvathi in 1993 after his first wife, Basavatarakam, died in 1985. Balakrishna is one of the 12 offsprings that NTR and his first wife had.

With RGV wanting to make NTR’s biopic based on his second wife’s view, it naturally did not go well with the Nandamuri clan, say sources.

According to sources, the biopic was Balakrishna’s dream project and he wanted to include a lot of details about his late father that is unknown to his fans.

In fact, the star is in the process of collecting information from film personalities and other family members so that the biopic would be an interesting to watch.

It may be noted here that Balakrishna has had two film releases in 2017 with the period movie Gautamiputra Satakarni being a hit and Paisa Vasool opening to mixed reviews. Hardcore NTR fans will have to wait for official news about the biopic.
