Ever since the photo of SS Rajamouli flanked by the two top heroes in the Telugu film industry – Ram Charan Teja and Jr NTR – was posted online by the Baahubali director, there have been a lot of rumors doing the rounds.

Though the trio preferred to remain silent, reports started to make rounds that SS Rajamouli’s next would be a multi-starrer featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

This also gave rise to the rumors that Ram Charan decided to shelve an upcoming Boyapati Srinu directorial to accommodate SS Rajamouli’s film. However, all these rumors have now been set aside with the official launch of Ram Charan’s next film with Boyapati.

It is now confirmed that the film would go on to the floors early next year. Meanwhile, the star would be completing his current assignment Rangasthalam which is slated to hit the silver screens next year.

The shooting of Rangasthalam is expected to be wrapped by December end facilitating the hero to move over to the Boyapati directorial in January. The project will be bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under this banner DVV Entertainments.

In the meantime, progressing at a brisk pace, Rangasthalam is being directed by Sukumar and produced by Surekha Konidela, Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri, Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers on a budget of Rs. 45 crore.

Ram Charan and Samantha are pairing up for the first time with Rangasthalam and the star cast also includes Jagapati Babu, Rambha, Gouthami, Aadhi Pinisetty, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Padmaja Lanka. Pooja Hegde will be seen in a special song in the film.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for this flick with R Rathnavelu handling the cinematography and Navin Nooli in charge of the editing. According to reports, the film is scheduled to release on March 16, next year.
