Ram Charan Teja is currently busy with the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR in which he is sharing the screen space with Jr NTR. The film has Alia Bhatt making her debut in Tollywood and is paired opposite Ram Charan. While RRR is slated for release next year and the stars will be busy with it until then, we have news coming that Ram Charan has finalised his next director and it is Vamsi Paidapally.

Ram Charan and Vamsi have worked together in Yevadu earlier and the film was a box office success. Well, that is reason enough to expect this project!

In RRR, Ram Charan will be playing Alluri Seetharamaraju and Jr NTR will be playing the role Komaram Bheem. On the technical crew roped in for the project, we hear that MM Keeravani is on board to compose the tunes and KK Senthil Kumar for cinematography with A Sreekar Prasad roped in for editing.

RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments on a budget of Rs 300 crore.

Meanwhile, Vamsi is currently wrapping up the Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi, which is set for release next month. Maharshi is a high budget project with a major portion of it being shot in the United States. The film is about three friends played by Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde. It also has veteran actor Jayapradha playing a pivotal role.

Maharshi is being produced jointly by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri under the banners Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema. The technical crew of this film includes Devi Sri Prasad as its music composer, K. U. Mohanan as the cinematographer and Praveen KL as the editor.

There is a buzz that Mahesh Babu may be appearing in five different get-ups in the film. Maharshi will reportedly showcase the transition of his character from a college student to an entrepreneur. However, the filmmakers are tight-lipped about it.
