Reports are rife that ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan has given the go ahead for his next movie.
Director Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame is reported to have impressed the star with a story so much, that he has agreed to hop on board immediately after completing his current assignment.
The director has a script ready, which means that the project will commence later this year.
According to reports, Pawan will complete his current project with Trivikram Srinivas and then join the Santosh Srinivas directorial, most probably by the end of 2017.
Talks are on with one of the most wanted female actors in Tollywood, Rakul Preet Singh, to pair up with the star, we hear.
With the project in its initial stage, the makers are yet to confirm the cast and the rest of the crew.
Pawan Kalyan’s untitled film with Trivikram Srinivas has Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel playing the female leads, while Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music.
Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh has a lot on her plate, having paired up with top heroes such as Ram Charan Teja, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Naga Chaitanya and Allu Arjun.
Apart from a slew of Telugu films that she is working on, she has signed up for a Tamil film, Theeran Athikaram Ondru too.
If reports doing rounds turn out to be true, director AR Murugadoss is planning to sign her up for Vijay’s upcoming film as well.
Rakul made her acting debut with the Kannada movie Ghilli in 2009 and her Tollywood debut was with Keratam, while her Tamil debut was Thadaiyara Thaaka.
