Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra is one of the internationally renowned stars today but she made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Thamizhan, which had Vijay playing the lead role. She not only shared screen space with the actor, but also went on to croon the number Ullathai Killathe for the film. In fact, Thamizhan was her very first film after being crowned Miss World.

Recently, the actor had the opportunity to interact with her fans on a social networking site and answered a volley of questions thrown at her. When one of the fans wanted to know if she would share the screen with Vijay again, Priyanka Chopra said that she would love to. The actor answered, “I would love to. I’m a big fan of @actorvijay.”

Interestingly, Thamizhan remains her only Tamil movie till date.

Priyanka’s debut in Bollywood was with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy and she went on to act in a number of movies including Blackmail, Barsaat, Om Shanti Om, Dostana, What's Your Raashee?, Zanjeer, Dil Dhadakne Do etc. She currently has a couple of films in her kitty - A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic?. She also a number of television shows and music videos to her credit.

Vijay is currently basking in glory over the success of his recent hit Mersal, though the film did get embroiled in a lot of controversies particularly over scenes involving GST and the medical fraternity. The film, released for Diwali on October 18, has been directed by Atlee. It has Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Agarwal playing the female leads. AR Rahman has composed music for this magnum opus which has been produced by Thenandal Studios Limited on a budget of Rs 150 crore.
