After earning critical acclaim and commercial success with Ennu Ninte Moideen, the hit pair of Mollywood, actors Prithviraj and Parvathy Menon once again unite in the upcoming film My Story. Now the latest news is that the movie will tentatively hit the screens by March 2018.

Director Roshni had alleged that the shooting of My Story had been delayed, as Prithviraj did not allot dates for the project. She had reportedly said that Prithviraj was on "a signing spree, giving dates left, right and centre". Later, she approached the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) in September to seek a resolution.

After this, the issues between the actor-director duo have been finally resolved and the second schedule started rolling in Mysore.

Director Roshni was quoted by The Times Of India as saying, "We had allocated 14 days for the schedule and could wrap it up in 13. The next schedule, which will be shot in Portugal, will go on floors on January 10."

My Story marks the directorial debut of Roshni Dinakar who has been working as a costume designer in the Kannada, Tamil and Telugu movie industries for the past 15 years. The movie is scripted by actor and director Shankar Ramakrishnan.

The film is produced jointly by Roshni and OV Dinakar under the banner Roshni Dinakar Productions. Set between the years 1995 and 2017, My Story is touted to be a romantic entertainer that will tell the tale of Jai, played by Prithviraj and Thara, played by Parvathy.

Reportedly, Prithviraj and Parvathy will appear in two different get-ups in the movie. Apart from Prithviraj and Parvathy, the film also has Nandhu, Manoj K Jayan, Maniyanpilla Raju and Ganesh Venkatram playing supporting roles. The film has music by Shaan Rahman.
