In a move which was expected for several weeks, Arnab Goswami has been appointed as President – News and Editor-in-Chief TIMES NOW and ET NOW. In an office advice sent to all employees of the two news channels, the Chairman of the group Vineet Jain said that the move is to “reinforce our commitment to growth” in order to “prepare the future leadership of Times Network”.Jain also said in the advisory that “Arnab has successfully achieved and maintained the Leadership position for Times Now” for several years, and will be leading ET Now with immediate effect. Jagdish Mulchandani has been appointed as the President –Finance and Distribution. Navika Kumar the Political Editor has been elevated to Executive Editor of Times Now.“I can confirm the news to you. It has been a great opportunity and a great challenge keeping Times Now at number 1 for eight years. In my new role we will make ET NOW and Times Now a formidable combination of Dominance and Leadership in the English News and Business Genre.
