GV Prakash Kumar and Vijay Anthony are successful music composers who managed to capture the hearts of their fans with their acting skills. Joining this bandwagon now is Gopi Sunder. An accomplished music director, Gopi came up with fine tunes for films such as Big B, Ustad Hotel, Mumbai Police, ABCD and Pulimurugan.

The composer is all geared up to play the lead role in the Malayalam film Toll Gate. The film is scripted and directed by Hari Krishnan. The film’s first look poster was launched recently by Dulquer Salmaan on his Facebook page, confirming that Gopi was indeed making his acting debut.

It may be mentioned here that Gopi has appeared in small roles in films like Mr Fraud and Salala Mobiles, but this is the first time that he will be playing the hero. According to reports doing the rounds, Gopi will also be composing the tunes for Toll Gate besides playing the lead.

Gopi made his debut as music director in the Malayalam film industry with the 2006 release Notebook and his Bollywood debut happened the very next year with Dhol.
