Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been given additional police protection after one of his business associates Ali Morani was allegedly contacted by gangster Ravi Pujari.
Ali Morani, who is also close friends with the superstar, is said to have received extortion threats. Five shots were fired outside Morani's residence on Saturday evening, though it did not injure anyone, states a report by Bollywood Mantra. Morani's family has filed a police complaint and the police is investigating the matter.
As a precaution, the Mumbai police has now given Khan police protection.
