The 64th Jio Filmfare Awards 2017 South honoured the best talents in the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industries.
The dazzling event held in Hyderabad on Saturday saw a gathering of some of the biggest names in the industry to celebrate the excellence in South Indian cinema.
The awards for the best film went to Pelli Choopulu (Telugu), Joker (Tamil), Maheshinte Prathikaaram (Malayalam) and Thithi (Kannada).
Actor Madhavan bagged the Best Actor (Male) award for Irudhi Suttru (Tamil), NTR Jr won it for Nannaku Prematho (Telugu), Nivin Pauly for Action Hero Biju (Malayalam) and Anant Nag for Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu (Kannada).
In the Best Actor (Female) category, the winners are Samantha for A... Aa (Telugu), Ritika Singh for Irudhi Suttru (Tamil), Nayantara for Puthiya Niyamam (Malayalam) and Shraddha Srinath for U Turn (Kannada).
Veteran actor, producer and director Vijaya Nirmala was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
