The Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s next, Katamarayudu’s release date has been locked already and the team is busy with the final stages of post-production. According to the latest reports, the overseas rights of this entertainer have been bagged by Cine Galaxy for a huge sum. Incidentally, Cine Galaxy had distributed biggies such as Manam, Kabali, Nanaku Prematho, and BBM.
Katamarayudu is slotted to hit the silver screens on March 24 and the film will premiere in the US on March 23, confirm sources. Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani alias Dolly, the film is produced by Sharath Marar under his banner North Star Entertainment.
Based on the Ajith starrer Veeram, Katamarayudu has Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan as the lead pair. The Tamil version was directed by Siva and had Tammannah pairing up with Ajith. The film went on to become a hit.
The star cast of Katamarayudu comprises Siva Balaji, Kamal Kamaraju, Ajay, Nasser, Tarun Arora, and Ali. Anup Rubens has composed music for this film. It may be mentioned here that the Katamarayudu teaser was the first Telugu film teaser to get 100,000 likes on You Tube. The team is gearing up for a massive release with huge promos on the cards.
