Actor Lakshmi Menon, who is pursuing a degree in English literature, is reportedly planning to quit the course since she cannot find the time for it in the midst of her acting schedule.

Lakshmi Menon was in Class 8 when she made her acting debut in a supporting role in the 2011 Malayalam film, “Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya”. A year later, she bagged her first leading role in the critically-acclaimed Tamil drama, “Sundarapandian”.

Since then she has gone on to work in films such as “Kumki”, “Pandiya Nadu” and “Jigarthanda” and has become one of the reigning women actors of Kollywood. Currently busy shooting for the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer “Rekka”, Lakshmi has been simultaneously pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in Sacred Heart, Kochi; However, the actor is now planning to bid adieu to college as she finds it difficult to juggle both her acting career and her academic pursuits.

Due to her extremely busy schedule with multiple projects in her kitty, she’s finding it extremely difficult to take time out to attend college. As she has missed most of her classes since she enrolled into her degree, the management has apparently asked her to quit. Lakshmi, according to a source, has decided to quit college as soon as she wraps up work on “Rekka”.

The source added that Lakshmi has decided to pursue her studies through a correspondence course.
