Chinese premium smartphone maker OnePlus has announced its first-ever ‘OnePlus Assured Upgrade’ program. As part of this program, those who buy a OnePlus 6T during the Republic Day sales on Amazon.in and OnePlus exclusive offline stores can get a guaranteed buyback on the purchase value when they look to buy a future OnePlus flagship.
According to a statement from OnePlus, OnePlus 6T users can get a buyback value of a maximum of 70% of the purchase value of the 6T and a minimum of 40% of the purchase value of the device between 3-12 months from the purchase date.
The OnePlus Upgrade Program is available for purchase at an additional cost of Rs 199.

Our community has always been technologically forward and a vast majority of them also upgrade to subsequent OnePlus devices. With the ‘OnePlus Assured Upgrade’ program, we are excited to make upgrading to future OnePlus flagships even easier,” Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, said.
OnePlus also announced that it will roll out exclusive limited period offers for those looking to buy the OnePlus 6T during the Republic Day sales. The offers that will go live starting January 19, 2019 for Amazon Prime members and January 20, 2019 for all other users. These offers include Rs 1,500 instant discount on all OnePlus 6T purchases through HDFC Bank credit and debit cards on Amazon.in. Customers purchasing the OnePlus 6T on oneplus.in, OnePlus exclusive offline stores, Croma or Reliance Digital outlets will be eligible for Rs 1,500 cashback on all EMI transactions using SBI Bank credit cards starting January 19, 2019.
Additionally, those who buy the OnePlus 6T on Amazon.in, oneplus.in, all Croma outlets, select Reliance Digital outlets and all OnePlus exclusive offline stores will also be able to avail up to 6 months of No-cost EMI. Buyers will also be eligible for an additional Rs 2,000 off on exchange of their old devices for the OnePlus 6T on Amazon.in, oneplus.in and at all OnePlus exclusive offline stores.
