There have been reports that Dulquer Salmaan’s Comrade in America and Nivin Pauly’s Sakhavu will hit the silver screens this Vishu on April 15, 2017, but the box office clash has been averted. While Sakhavu will be out at the theatres as a Vishu release, the makers of Comrade in America have decided to postpone the release to May 5th.
Starring Nivin Pauly, Aishwarya Rajesh, Gayathri Suresh, Aparna Gopinath, Sreenivasan, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Maniyanpilla Raju and Renji Panicker, the film has been directed by Sidhartha Siva. B Rakesh has produced his film under the banner Universal Cinema with Prashant Pillai composing the tunes.
Dulquer Salmaan’s Comrade in America is directed by Amal Neerad and produced by Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed under their respective banners Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. The film stars Dulquer and Karthika Muralidharan as the lead pair with Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph and John Vijay forming the supporting cast.
