With only three weeks left for Frozen 2 to hit the screens in India, it has been announced that Nithya Menen would lend her voice in the Telugu-dubbed version, for the character Elsa. The film is slated to release in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on 22 November. The actor took it to Twitter and announced,"Guess who is Elsa in Telugu..! Coming soon! Nithya said in a statement "When Frozen 2 was offered to me, it was an instant nod for me as its one of the most-touching scripts I have read. Not only does it have a cinematic appeal which one cannot miss, but it also has a beautiful and heart-warming message for all the girls out there. I am in awe of Elsa's character and it's quite exciting to be dubbing for her in Telugu for my fans and our local audience. She is a character that is loved and stands out as a true inspiration for all the little girls. Collaborating with a magnificent production house like Disney is indeed a dream come true as they bring the most iconic characters alive year on year,"

Frozen 2 is the sequel of the hit 2013 Disney film. The second installment promises to be more intense as it traces the past of Princesses Anna and Elsa and pieces together their present. Wood and Brown have a role to play in solving this mystery.

Nithya Menen who was last seen in Praana, earned positive reviews for her performance. Directed by VK Prakash, Praana was produced by Suresh Raj, Praveen S Kumar and Anita Raj. Nithya Menen is all set to kickstart the biopic The Iron Lady based on the life of the late actor and political leader J Jayalalithaa, which is being helmed by A Priyadhaarshini.

The film will concentrate on J Jayalalitha’s political journey and the challenges she underwent during her tenures as the CM. The title logo of this biopic was unveiled by noted director and producer AR Murugadoss on his Twitter handle.

Nithya Menen and Shine Tom Chacko are pairing up for a crime thriller that will be directed by Ajay Devaloka whose film Who was premiered at Cannes last year. She also has Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer Psycho which is directed by Mysskin which also stars  Aditi Rao Hydari, Aadukalam Naren and Director Ram.
