Nayanthara has inked the dotted lines to share the screen space with N Balakrishna in his upcoming film titled Jayasimha.
Helming the project is veteran director KS Ravikumar. The shooting of this film has commenced and is progressing at a rapid pace to ensure that it is out at the theatre for Sankranti 2018.
According to reports about this project, Balayya plays a faction leader and Nayanhara has been roped in for the flashback scenes.
Though her screen presence is limited, she will have an important role to play in the film, add sources.
Apart from Nayanthara, two other heroines would be a part of the project and the director is still in the process of finalising them. The last time she was seen sharing the screen space with Balayya was in 2011 when they co-starred in the epic film Sri Rama Rajyam in which she got to play Goddess Sita.
Balakrishna’s last outing, Paisa Vasool released earlier this month to mixed reviews and his fans are waiting eagerly for a massive hit from the star. Jayasimha, it is expected, will turn out to be one of the biggest hits.
Produced by CK Entertainments, the film’s shooting has begun and is progressing fast. Meanwhile, there are reports that N Balakrishna is gearing up for a biopic on this late father and thespian NT Rama Rao who ruled Andhra Pradesh as its Chief Minister.
Reportedly, the project will be helmed by the critically acclaimed director Ram Gopal Varma. Balayya and Ram Gopal Varma are in the process of collecting as much info as they could about the late actor and politician from his family and close associates.
Well, it cannot be denied that both Jayasimha and the NTR biopic is the most expected films amongst the Balayya fans.
