On the occasion of Tollywood star Nagarjuna’s birthday on August 29, the makers of his upcoming film Devadas released his first look in the film. The star plays a gangster in it and his look has gone viral among his fans to say the least.

Sharing screen space with Nag in this comic caper is Nani. It has already been well publicised that while Nag plays a gangster, Nani will be seen as a doctor. The film’s teaser released earlier this month to positive response among fans.

Devadas is a Sri Ram Adittya directorial and is presented by C Dharma Raju and bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt under his banner Vyjayanthi Movies. It has Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh playing the female leads with the former pairing up with Nani and the latter with Nagarjuna. Mani Sharma will be composing the music for this flick with Samdat Sainudeen cranking the camera.

This is the first time the two of the finest actors from the Telugu film industry, Nagarjuna and Nani, are getting an opportunity to share screen space which is a big reason to wait for its release. The shooting of the film is right on track and it is slated for a grand release on September 27.

Both Nagarjuna as well as Nani are desperately in need of a big hit with their previous respective ventures Officer and Krishnarjuna Yuddham bombing at the box office. With the first look and teaser creating a positive impact in the minds of film buffs, let’s wait for the results after its release next month.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is back in Bollywood after 15 long years with the upcoming film Brahmsastra, directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by ace filmmaker Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. The shooting of the film began in February this year and the first schedule was completed in Bulgaria in March. Brahmastra will be shot extensively in foreign countries such Bulgaria, New York and London.
