Akhil Akkineni made his debut as hero with Akhil but with the film not garnering enough attention at the box office he took time to go ahead with his second film.

After waiting for nearly two years and after numerous discussions, his second film went on to the floors early this year.

Recently, the film’s title has been announced as Hello. Nagarjuna, Akhil’s dad, is also producing this venture under his own banner Annapurna Studios.

The actor-producer is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his young son delivers a hit. In fact, it has been reported that Nagarjuna had delayed the project by several months as he wanted director Vikram Kumar to tighten up the script and had suggested a lot of changes for it.

The title of the film, Hello, has received a positive response from film buffs and now we hear from sources that the title came from Nagarjuna himself.

According to sources close to the film unit, the title stems from the fact that hero Akhil waits eagerly for the heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan to say ‘Hello’ to him. When Nagarjuna suggested the title, Vikram Kumar gave his assent immediately, we hear.

Slated for release on December 22 to cash in on the long Christmas weekend, Hello is touted to be a romantic action entertainer.

The first look of the film was released a few days ago along with the title and it did fetch positive reviews.

Anup Rubens will be composing music for this flick with PS Vinod cranking the camera. The team is currently busy with the filming which had commenced in Hyderabad earlier this year.

With the shooting on, director Vikram Kumar is expected to announce the rest of the star cast soon.
