The Moto Z2 Force is the latest version in this smartphone segment and its predecessor was the one that actually started the trend of doing away with the headphone jack. Ironically, the latest leaked images and rumours do suggest the 3.5mm headphone jack will be back after all! More information has surfaced about this phone which might be launched anytime soon including in India.

The Moto Z2 Force is a 5.5-inch phone with a Quad HD AMOLED display and the resolution and pixel density are 1440x2560 and 534 respectively. Quite impressive, these features and would do any smartphone proud. And add to this the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and you have what it takes to give a tough fight to any top rated phone.

But if the rumours are to be relied upon, the front glass on the Moto Z2 Force would be shatter proof and won’t easily break. The manufacturer may dare the users to scratch, drop and nothing will happen to the front glass! And the phone will be as thin as 5.9mm only.

At least Lenovo has taken the step to load the latest Android N version 7.1 on the Moto Z2 Force unlike most other phones which have stuck to the Android M. The 3500 mAh battery and the memory level of 4GB RAM will most likely to be retained and the internal memory of 32/64GB as well as the provision for the microSD slot to take the memory up to 256GB might all not be tampered with in the latest version. But between now and the actual release of the phone, things can change and one might see the RAM jacked up to 6 or even 8GB and the battery power also increased to match the powerful 835 processor. However, the images and videos leaked do not indicate any increase in the phone’s thickness, which means accommodating a larger battery may not be feasible.

The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back. There will be a dual camera setup in the rear (may retain the same 21MP as in the Moto Z Force, the predecessor) and the mandatory LED dual tone flash will all be present. The front camera will be 5MP with a flash as well.

As mentioned, the exact date of launch and its entry into India are still not known but it could happen within weeks and the price will also be known only then.
