Lenovo has just launched its latest smartphone offering from the Motorola stable, the Moto X4 in the Indian market. The Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch full-HD LTPS IPS display with the screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels offering a pixel density of 424ppi which is quite impressive. The screen receives protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

From the physical features, the camera setup in the rear has a slightly lifted watch-dial like structure. The dimensions of the device are 148.35mmx73.4mmx7.99mm except where the camera module appears, the thickness is 9.45mm. The phone weighs 163gms.

In a first for the Indian market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630SoC makes its debut with the Moto X4. The chipset clocks a speed of 2.2GHz, which should be considered quite powerful. The Moto X4 is being offered in 2 RAM/ROM variants. The lower one has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage while the other phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The provision for a microSD slot facilitates the expansion of the storage to a mammoth 2TB.

Lenovo has opted for the dual camera setup in the Moto X4 with the rear sensors being a combination of 12MP and 8MP. While the 12MP sensor has the Dual Autofocus Pixel feature with a f/2.0 aperture lens, the 8MP sensor is an ultra-wide angled lens with an aperture size of f/2.2. The rear camera setup is supported by the color correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash. In the front, the sensor is 16MP in size and has a selfie flash.

The battery is 3000mAh and has a fast charging mode which permits a recharging of 6hours battery life in just 15 minutes.

Among the connectivity options the v5.0 Bluetooth connectivity is being highlighted on this device since it can sync up to 4 speakers/headphones at a time. Motorola calls this feature Wireless Sound System. The Moto X4 also comes with the dust and water resistance certification IP 68. A host of other features have also been packed into this new smartphone from Lenovo/Motorola.

The newly launched device went on sale in India from 11.59 pm on November 13. Flipkart has an online exclusive right to sell the phone. Offline, the phone can be picked up from Moto Hub stores. The Moto X4 will be available in 2 colors, Super Black and Sterling Blue.

Now to the all-important pricing. The Moto X4 3GB/32GB variant will be sold at Rs 20, 999 and the 4GB/64GB variant at Rs 22, 999.
