Mollywood star Mohanlal is not new to the Telugu film industry. Having starred in a few Telugu movies, he has a huge fan following in the Telugu-speaking region. Moreover, his recent films Janatha Garage and Manyam Puli, which is the Telugu version of Puli Murugan, have turned out to be big successes at the box office.
To cash in on the star’s popularity, the makers of Oppam have decided to release the film in Telugu. Oppam, which released to packed houses last Onam, was a big hit in Mohanlal’s career. The film’s Telugu dubbed version, titled Kanupapa, is all set to release all over Andhra and Telangana.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the film has been produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. Interestingly, Janatha Garage was released on September 1 and Manyam Puli on December 2nd. Now, Kanupapa is all set to hit the silver screens on February 3.
