Mohanlal’s upcoming film Big Brother will have three women actors in important roles.

The latest on Big Brother is that Satna Titus of Pichaikaran fame might be roped in for a role in the film. According to the film’s director Siddique, Satna is in talks to play Sarjano Khalid’s pair. Also, we hear that Regina Cassandara is in talks with the team, to act opposite Mohanlal in the film. If this turns out to be true, she will be playing the character Arya Shetty and it will mark her debut in the Malayalam film industry. Apparently, she will be playing a Bengaluru-based businessman’s daughter.

Besides Satna Titus and Regina Cassandra, a newbie Shilpa Ajayan has been roped in to play Anoop Menon’s heroine. Reports are that Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and Sarjano Khalid play brothers.

Director Siddique appears to be busy roping in some of the best actors on board. Recently it was confirmed that Bollywood actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan has been signed up to play an important role in Big Brother.

Arbaaz met Mohanlal and director Siddique in Kerala. Reports are that he will be seen as an enforcement officer named Vedantham IPS. In an interview with the Times of India, the film’s director said, “I have known Arbaaz since I had worked with his brother in Bollywood. We have kept in touch since and when I discussed the idea of the character with him, he was happy to come on board as it will give him a chance to work in the South film industry and share screen space with Mohanlal.”

The shooting of the film will commence on June 25th this year.

While Mohanlal is gearing up to hop onboard Big Brother, he is currently busy with the shooting of Ittymani: Made in China, which is directed by Jibi and Joju.
