Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is busy with Ittymaani: Made in China right now. The shooting for this film is in progress and we hear that scenes involving Mohanlal performing the traditional Margam Kali dance along with 512 classical dancers were filmed in front of a church. Actors Salim Kumar and Dharmarajan were also part of this dance performance. According to sources in the know, in the film the dance show will be for the purpose of raising funds for people who have lost their homes and Mohanlal will be performing it for a charitable trust.

It may be mentioned here that recently a pic from the film made it online and went viral for Mohanlal’s wink. In what appears to be a church gathering, we also get to see veteran actor Radhika Sarathkumar in the background. Reports suggest that Mohanlal plays a character who is based in Kunnamkulam and will be attempting a Thrissur slang.

Ittymaani: Made in China is being directed by debut directors Jibi and Joju and bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas. The title poster of the film was unveiled some time ago and it featured a laughing Buddha, thus indicating that it will be a comic caper. Speaking about the film, one its directors, Joju told Times of India in an interview earlier, “It’s a total fun movie that would remind the audience of Lalettan’s yesteryear superhits such as Vellanakalude Naadu, Chithram and Kilukkam.”

Mohanlal also has Big Brother directed by Siddique in his kitty waiting to go on the floors next month. The film also includes Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan, Anoop Menon, Sarjano Khalid, Satna Titus and others in the star cast. While Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and Sarjano Khalid play brothers in this flick, Arbaaz will be seen as a police officer. The shooting for Big Brother will reportedly commence on June 25.
