The box office battle for Onam this year is really huge! It will be a four cornered battle with biggies Mammootty vs Mohanlal and Prithviraj vs Nivin Pauly at the box office.
Mammootty’s Pullikkaran Staraa and Mohanlal’s Velipadinte Pusthakam are slated to hit the marquee for Onam and so are Prithviraj’s Adam Joan and Nivin Pauly’s Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela.
Pullikkaran Staraa: Directed by Shyamdhar, the film has Mammootty, Asha Sarath, Deepti Sati, Innocent, Dileesh Pothan, Hareesh Perumanna and Sohan Seenulal in the star cast. M Jayachandran has composed the tunes for this comedy flick with Vinod Ilampally cranking the camera and Ranjan Abraham editing it.
Velipadinte Pusthakam: Directed by Lal Jose, the film stars Mohanlal, Priyanka Nair and Anna Rajan in the lead roles. Antony Perumbavoor has produced this venture under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas and it is distributed by MaxLab Entertainments. Shaan Rahman has composed music for this venture with Vishnu Sarma cranking the camera and Ranjan Abraham roped in for the editing.
Adam Joan: The romantic thriller has Prithviraj playing the lead role with Mishti and Bhavana in the star cast. Deepak Dev has composed the music for this flick with Jithu Damodar cranking the camera and Ranjan Abraham editing it. Incidentally, Prithiviraj has crooned one of the numbers for this album.
Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela: It is a comedy film that has Nivin Pauly playing the lead role. The film also has Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ahaana Krishna, Lal, Shanthi Krishna, Siju Wilson, Sharafudheen, and Krishnashankar in the star cast. Directed and co-written by Althaf Salim, the film has been bankrolled by Nivin Pauly under his own banner.
