Taking to his Twitter account and tweeting in a number of languages, he added a personal touch to each greeting. "I convey my heartfelt greetings to our fellow countrymen and women on the various festivals across the nation," he said in a statement. "The festive spirit across India is gladdening. It celebrates the diversity of India that we cherish and are extremely proud of," he added. "Wishing everyone on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti," he said. "Greetings on Uttarayan.
