Three unknown people created a ruckus in front of Tollywood actor and politician Pawan Kalyan's residence in Hyderabad late on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the miscreants, suspected to be fans of the actor, allegedly assaulted the security and tried to barge into the apartment at Road no 12, Banjara Hills.
The actor was away in Gujarat for shooting a film when the incident took place and a complaint was lodged with Banjara Hills police.
"When a bouncer, Jahangir, refused to let the three men inside the flat, they assaulted him and left the place. The trio appeared to be in an inebriated condition," Banjara Hills inspector P Murali Krishna told the Times of India.
Based on a complaint by Pawan Kalyan's security, a case was registered under sections of the IPC relating to voluntarily causing hurt and criminal trespass.
The police added that no damage had been done to the property and they were also analyzing CCTV footage to identify the miscreants.
