The News Minute| June 9, 2014| 11.30 pm IST Facebook and its multiple issues related to privacy has become a daily topic of discussion. One of the privacy issues that users face is that Facebook allows any user to see mutual friends between any two other users, so long as one of them has a publicly available friends list. And to prove this point, web portal Mashable has accessed around 400 friends from Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s friends list. Zuckerberg’s friend list is private, but this is what Mashable did to access a portion of his friends list. “Zuckerberg is friends with long-time Facebook employee and head of product Chris Cox, whose friends list is public. Cox and Zuckerberg have 248 shared connections, and thanks to that fact (and further friends list comparisons) we were able to see more than 400 of Zuckerberg's Facebook friends,” says Mashable Zuckerberg is friends with prominent people in the tech industry including Blake Ross, Co-creator of Mozilla Firefox and Charlie Cheever, Cofounder of Quora. Mashable says, “There were also surprises. Included amongst Zuckerberg's list of friends: Robin Li, cofounder of Chinese search engine Baidu, and China's third richest man ($11.1 billion net worth, according to Forbes).” Read- Proof of Facebook's Privacy Problem: Mark Zuckerberg's Private Friends List
