Written and directed by G Ashok, Bhagmati is produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod under the banner UV Creations. S Thaman is composing music for thriller, which is due for release in August this year. Jayaram made his acting debut with the Malayalam film Aparan in 1988 and since then has been lucky enough to bag some prestigious projects. While he predominantly starred in Malayalam films, Jayaram also got to star in a few Tamil films that had him in memorable roles.
Apart from Bhagmati, he has a couple of films in his kitty including the Venkat Prabhu directorial Party. In the movie, he will be sharing the screen space with Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Jai, Regina Cassandra and Sampath. It may be mentioned that Jayaram had collaborated with Venkat Prabhu nearly nine years ago for Saroja in which he had played a subtle villain.
While Jayaram has one film each in Telugu and Tamil, he also has another project in Malayalam titled Aakasha Mittayi. Interestingly, this will be director Samuthirakani’s debut in the Malayalam film industry.
