Solo is creating waves even before its release with the trailers, teasers and songs reaching the film buffs in a big way. Cashing in on this huge popularity, the makers of Solo have released the making of Solo – The World of Rudra recently and it has gone viral as well. In the video, Dulquer Salmaan, Bejoy Nambiar and the rest of the Solo team are seen talking about the making of the film and what it is all about. Solo is quite a different film with the four characters that Dulquer Salmaan plays in the movie based on the four elements such as Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. According to the sources, his character Rudra is based on the element Earth.

Touted to be an experimental action drama, Solo features Neha Sharma, Sruthi Hariharan, Praneeth Subash, Arthi Venkatesh, Dino Morea, Suhasini Maniratnam, Sai Dhansika, Nasser, Sujata Sehgal, Suresh Menon, Deepti Sati, Manoj K. Jayan, Anson Paul, R. Parthiepan, John Vijay, Sheelu Abraham and Prakash Belawadi.

Being a bilingual – Tamil and Malayalam, the film is produced by Abraham Mathew, Bejoy Nambiar (Malayalam), Anil Jain, Bejoy Nambiar (Tamil) under the banner Getaway Films, Abaam Films and Refex Entertainment. The music composers of Solo are Prashant Pillai, Govind Menon, Masala Coffee, Gaurav Godkhindi, Abhinav Bhansal, Ragini Bhagawat, Agam, and Sooraj S. Kurup. While the cinematography has been handled by Girish Gangadharan, Madhu Neelakandan, and Sejal Shah, the editing has been done by A Sreekar Prasad.

Solo’s shooting began late last year and the team has been regularly kindling the interests of the film buffs by releasing teasers, trailers, songs etc. With Dulquer Salmaan appearing in different get-ups and roles, fans are just eager for this anthology of films. Solo is reportedly due for release later this year.
