Director Mysskin has screened a special preview of the B Unni Krishnan directorial, Villain recently. On seeing the film, the director lauded the efforts of the filmmaker and the entire cast and crew for coming up with such a wonderful product. He praised the mature performances of the lead actors Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Vishal.
B Unni Krishnan went on to share director Mysskin’s message in this social Facebook page which reads: “Villian.. an emotional thriller..majestically performed by the great veteran Actor Mohanlal...mature performances from Manju Warrier, Vishal and other actors..a perfectly designed movie from Director Unnikrishnan..congrats to the Team and the Crew..Mysskin.” It may be noted that Mysskin is currently directing Vishal in Thupparivalan.
Villain, a thriller directed by B Unni Krishnan, stars Mohanlal in the lead role. The film has Manju Warrier playing the female lead with Tamil actors Vishal and Hansika Motwani making their debut in the Malayalam film industry. Raashi Khanna, who is a leading heroine in Tollywood, will also be making her debut in Mollywood with Villain.
Villain has an impressive line-up of stars in the cast including Srikanth, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Anand and Idavela Babu.
The film’s technical crew include four music composers (Jim Jacob, Biby Matthew, Eldhose Alias, and Justin James) who have scored the songs while Sushin Shyam has composed the background score. Manoj Paramahamsa and NK Ekambaram have worked with the camera while Shameer Mohammad has edited the film. Villain happens to be noted Kannada producer Rockline Venlatesh’s maiden Malayalam movie as he has produced it under his own banner Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd. Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments, in which Mohanlal is one of the key stakeholders, is distributing this magnum opus.
