Advocate Rajeshwari had filed a complaint with the police against Rahul for posting fake allegations against her on Facebook, the New Indian Express reported. He has been charged under section 118 (d) of the Kerala Police Act which deals with annoyance caused to any person in an indecent manner and it prescribes imprisonment upto three years and/or a fine upto Rs. ten thousand.Rahul said that he was tricked by the lady lawyer and her son who had approached him six months back for making a film for their production company. “After verifying their credentials, we came to know that it was a ‘paper’ production company, and their dealings were found to be suspicious. So, I declined their offer and posted an article against the lawyer, in view of cautioning the budding filmmakers about such frauds. Moreover, I suspect that there are some other people behind her who want to tarnish my image,” Rahul said.Tweet
