Reports of the Tollywood star Mahesh Babu and director AR Murugadoss collaborating for a project have been substantiated with evidence! The big news now is that it is an international project. Hollywood star Bill Duke, who was seen in movies like Commando and Predator, had tweeted, “@ARMurugadoss @urstrulyMahesh When you come to #LosAngeles, Stop by #DTLA for Lunch to discuss collaborating on International #SpyMovie. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu and his fans are gearing up for the release of Maharshi on May 9. Directed by Vamsi Paidapally, it is a high budget project with a major portion of it shot in the United States. The film is about three friends played by Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde. It also has veteran actor Jayapradha playing a pivotal role. The film is being produced jointly by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri under the banners Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema. The technical crew of this film includes Devi Sri Prasad as its music composer, KU Mohanan as the cinematographer and Praveen KL as the editor.

With Maharshi’s release planned and the promos on, the star is getting ready to move on to his next film which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi. Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead. The film will have two veteran actors, Ramya Krishnan and Vijayashanthi, in pivotal roles with Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh and producer Bandla Ganesh in the star cast as well. This film, which is yet to be titled, will be an early 2020 release.
