Kumar Bangarappa has acted in over 15 movies such as "Rakta Kanneeru", "Amara Prema" and "Ksheera Sagara" and later became a minister in S M Krishna’s cabinet.His brother Madhu Bangarappa is a JD (S) MLA from Sorab constituency and has acted in “Devi” opposite Sneha Ullal.Son of former minister BT Lalitha Nayak, Om Prakash Nayak, has acted, directed and composed music for the movie “Ondu Koleya Sutta”.Chief Minister Siddaramiah’s son Rakesh has acted in a few Kannada movies, but they never made it to the silverscreen. His debut movie “Nanage Neenu Ninage Naanu” that was initiated nearly a decade ago was not completed. Actor and turned politician Jaggesh’s son Gururaj Jaggesh has starred in a few films such as “Pangnama”, “Paipoti” and “Sankranti”.
