The News Minute | November 8, 2014 | 10.20 am IST B. Hridayakumari, winner of the Kerala Sahitya Academy award and a literary critic, died at a private hospital here Saturday, her family said. She was 84. She was suffering from age related illness. A respected figure in the social milieu of the state, she was the former principal of the Government Women's College here She headed a committee constituted by the Kerala State Higher Education Council to suggest improvements and reforms to the choice-based credit-and-semester system. The funeral will take place here later in the day here. IANS
