It is not every day that you get to see a Chinese woman in a saree, and tell you in flawless Tamil, how you should create a kolam.

A Malaysia-based oil company, Petronas group, which has come up with the campaign #PaatiSays, has chronicled some good old-fashioned advice handed down by grandmothers from minority communities in Malaysia.

In the video, Shirley Rangadurai, grandmother belonging to the Chindian community in Malaysia explains in Tamil the procedure and goodness of putting Kolam (Rangoli in Hindi) outside the house especially when rice flour is used for it.
