Frames Film Festival is an annual fest conducted by the BMM department of SIES college, Nerul. The fest's 16th edition will be coming up on the 10th, 11th and 12th of January, 2019. The first edition of the fest was held in 2003 and since then, there are different themes that cover various aspects of society portrayed through films. This year, the theme is Director’s Cut: An ode to the makers which is a salute to various directors in the film industry and their vision to portray art in its purest form.

The BMM department also did a CSR initiative in Nere High School, Panvel where underprivileged kids were shown animated movies in order to inculcate interest towards movies. They also hosted a pre-event called MEHFILM, where Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was screened under a starlit sky in the college premises.
